To vote using the vote-by-mail ballot, voters can:

• Mail the vote-by-mail ballot with prepaid postage to the Orange County Registrar of Voters 
• Drop the vote-by-mail ballot off at any of the Vote Centers locations throughout the County
• Drop off the vote-by-mail ballot at any Ballot Drop Box locations throughout the County.

Alternatively, voters will be able to cast their ballot in-person at any Vote Center. The voting experience at a Vote Center is somewhat similar to voting at a traditional polling place; however, there are many more benefits. You’ll have the opportunity to vote at one of nearly 200 Vote Centers located throughout Orange County – options include the opportunity to vote for four days or 11 days, including Election Day and Saturdays and Sundays.

Voters will receive the best customer service, and we will ensure a smooth process and a secure environment to meet voters' needs throughout Orange County. You’ll be greeted and checked in electronically.  With all of your voter data at our fingertips, we’ll be able to solve any problems quickly.

For instance, if you have lost or misplaced your ballot, you can go to a Vote Center and receive a replacement ballot. By voting with a replacement ballot, your original vote-by-mail ballot will no longer be counted.

Additionally, if you are not registered to vote, you can register to vote in-person at a Vote Center to receive your ballot. You can also register to vote or change your voter registration information on the California Secretary of State's website.

These new changes will allow all voters to cast there ballot quickly and easily. To help you understand the process of voting at a Vote Center, I will be hosting identical Vote Center Informational Meetings on February 19 and February 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Fullerton and La Habra, respectively. Staff from the Orange County Registrar of Voters office will be giving a presentation on Vote Centers and will be able to answer Vote Center and other vote-relating questions.
